A repairman came to the house yesterday. I found him on Google. Started our chat over Facebook messenger. Setup an appointment time over text.

Within an hour, he did his job including calling a couple of folks to make sure he wasn’t duplicating effort.

This morning, I woke up to a detailed report of what was done and Venmo request in my inbox.

I guess I say this all to say, what an amazing time to be that guy. He runs his entire business on his phone. He said he’s quit printing business cards and instead only asks customers to say nice things on Google and Next Door.

Technology can still be good.
