When we first gave our toddler Duplo blocks, he didn’t understand how they worked. All he wanted to do was tear down the structures we built.

He’s recently started to get how to put blocks together. Now that he understands how things work, he’s not interested in tearing things down.

Responding with anger to what you don’t understand might be an a priori trait. Hopefully, we can learn him out of it.
